This is my favourite passage of scripture, so I thought I’d have a little play with it this morning.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We kneel before you, Father<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We\u2019re named in your love, our whole family in you<\/div>\n
In heaven and on earth.<\/div>\n
Out of your glorious riches, too exquisite to behold<\/div>\n
May you restore us with your power<\/div>\n
Through your Spirit in our inmost being.<\/div>\n
May you, Christ Jesus, abide in our deepest hearts<\/div>\n
Through faith alone.<\/div>\n
And may we who are rooted and grounded in you,<\/div>\n
Established in the love which never gives up on us<\/div>\n
May we grasp the power you freely bestow,<\/div>\n
Together with all the saints, now and forever through history and eternity,<\/div>\n
The power to seize hold of<\/div>\n
How wide and long and high and deep<\/div>\n
How immense and immeasurable and boundless and profound<\/div>\n
How sweeping and towering and soaring and unfathomable<\/div>\n
Is your love, Lord Jesus.<\/div>\n
And may we know this great love that transcends wisdom<\/div>\n
That outweighs knowledge<\/div>\n
That eclipses learning \u2013<\/div>\n
That we may be filled to bursting point<\/div>\n
Saturated with copious profusion<\/div>\n
Completed with the fullness of you, our God.<\/div>\n
Now to you \u2013 to you, our glorious God, to you who is able to do<\/div>\n
Immeasurably<\/div>\n
Boundlessly<\/div>\n
Limitlessly more<\/div>\n
Than all we could ever ask,<\/div>\n
And all we could ever imagine,<\/div>\n
All we could even conceive of or envisage or wildly dream of,<\/div>\n
According to your power<\/div>\n
At work within us, around us, without us, in front and behind,<\/div>\n
Dancing with us, all-containing, everywhere we go and everything we do,<\/div>\n
To you be the glory!<\/div>\n
To you be the honour, the praise, the acclaim and the exaltation,<\/div>\n
In the church, your bride waiting for you with baited breath,<\/div>\n
And in Christ Jesus<\/div>\n
Throughout all generations, through history, stretching back and forth to eternity,<\/div>\n
And eternity.<\/div>\n
Amen.<\/div>\n
